I. Overview
First and foremost, All sales are final
With an understanding of aquatic life and the difficulties in captivity. This company is delivering a healthy living organism from clean UV sterilized water, kept at cool temperatures. It is the customers responsibility to acclimate the vertebrates and invertebrates properly.
The customer is also responsible for choosing which vertebrate or invertebrate are compatible for their environment. For example, a Lion fish and Damsels do not mix. The Lion fish will eat the Damsel(s). In this case, the customer orders a fish which is incompatible and is responsible if anything were to happen. It is the customer's understanding that Jawz, L.L.C. is simply a provider of aquatic life, and does not provide a warranty on living organisms.
Jawz, L.L.C. is not liable for any factory defects, flaws or typical wear and tear. This would best describe tank leaks, motor break-down and leaky hoses (not fittings). This would fall under factory defects.
Jawz, L.L.C. is not liable for any work which is under-equipped, it takes certain equipment components to efficiently operate an aquarium to the best of human potential by keeping living organisms alive in captivity (Chillier, UV sterilizer, Protein skimmer , Filter, Proper lighting and wet-dry's). If any of these recommended components are not used in proportion to tank size for whatever reason, then Jawz, L.L.C. cannot be held responsible for extensive vertebrate or invertebrate death or any other ailments which could occur.

II.  Size difference in organisms
As far as fish, invertebrates, rock or coral is concerned, there is a physical size difference with each species and coral. (For example an adult fish of the same species is larger than immature fish, also an EEL comes in different lengths as well!) In order to simplify the ordering process please specify the size of the fish, invertebrates or coral by small, medium, large, extra large and extra-extra large this is determined in inches (corals are by weight and origin) by your Jawz sales rep; so there is no confusion or surprises upon receiving your merchandise.

III.  Delivery Guarantee*
We are confident that all our live specimens are in the healthiest conditions attainable for saltwater fish. For this reason Jawz, LLC is able to guarantee any live specimen for 72 Hrs after packaging.  In the unlikely event that any specimen ordered from Jawz, LLC that is not explicitly excluded from the guarantee, Jawz, LLC will issue a store credit for the purchased price of the item given the following:

• Deceased specimen is reported within the 72 Hr guarantee period.
• First delivery attempt by shipper is successful, or package is picked up from the shipper on the first delivery day.
• Acclimation of live specimen into aquarium is done according to Jawz, LLC acclimation instructions.
• Water conditions meet the following requirements:
  • Ammonia          0.0 ppm
  • Nitrite               0.0 ppm
  • Nitrate              0.0 ppm
  • pH                   8.0-8.4
  • Phosphate        0.0 ppm
• Deceased item must be packed in zip lock bag with 2 tablespoons of salt and mailed in a padded envelope or original packaging.  Return postage will be credited up to $5.00 store credit.  If original packaging is returned in good condition an additional $5.00 store credit will be issued.

*Certain live specimens are inherently difficult to maintain in an aquarium or difficult to ship.  The guarantee does not apply to these specimens and it will be noted on the listing or a Jawz, LLC representative will contact you prior to shipping and before any charges are processed.
